I looked at Craigslist today and bought a couple of things.

I only spent $100 though and I got a stroller, swing, vibrating seat, bathtub, 45 pieces of boy clothing up to 3 months, and a big, stuffed dog for Curtis.

1st Appointment

Had my 1st doctor's appointment (finally!!). Things look pretty good. My BP was 100/57, weight 164 (gained a couple of pounds).

The doctor did an ultrasound. There really is a baby in there. The baby was pretty active and moving around. It was weird seeing the baby move on the screen, but not feeling anything. The arrow in this image is not pointing at the face, but at the shoulder. You can see the profile of the face above that. She also looked at the heart. We listened to the heart beat. The ultrasound recorded it as 159 bpm, very normal.

I asked her if she could tell the sex of the baby. She said it was hard with babies in breech position (butt down). But after some searching, she came up with this image. She says that there is two testicles and a penis, but I just see a blob. I asked her how certain she was. "I would bet large amounts of money that it's a boy."
